Let me begin by saying that I am in no way affiliated with Bluegreen Resorts other than being a timeshare owner.  Read my disclaimer in the footer of every page. We became Bluegreen owners in September 2011 and have never regretted our decision.  If you search for “bluegreen scam”, you’ll come up with all sorts of people who had all sorts of problems and swear up and down that it’s a scam.  It seems to me that most of those people have 2 things in common, they don’t know how to read and understand a contract or they don’t know how to use a computer.  Most of the complaints that I run across are that they “got taken” at a sales presentation and were “coerced into signing the contract” or they have been trying for months to schedule a vacation and it just doesn’t work – nothing is ever available.  I’m hoping to put those issues and others to rest with this website.  Feel free to browse it casually because you’ll read about all the trips we’ve taken and about any problems we encountered.  Hopefully. you’ll leave understanding that Bluegreen is anything but a scam.

  1. My wife and I have been owners for a number of years, and have thoroughly enjoyed our ownership. Bluegreen Vacations is NOT a scam. A company such as this would not be able to continue operations if it were a scam. Every negative report I’ve ever see is from individuals who did not understand their sales presentation. It’s time we hear from the numerous happy owners, of the wonderful vacations they’ve taken, and the great accommodations that Bluegreen offers. Heck, we just upgraded our ownership in May (2014) because we’ve been so pleased with Bluegreen. I don’t think that would have happened if the company were a scam. Bluegreen is great.
